Why Chow Down Burbank?

The pandemic has hit our community incredibly hard, and our local restaurants are having a difficult time staying afloat. Now that the state has reopened and in-person dining is allowed more broadly, The City of Burbank, The Burbank of Chamber of Commerce, and our community have come together to help uplift these vital businesses that employee thousands of locals while improving the lives of countless families, working professionals, and residents

For those who are able, Chow Down Burbank is an opportunity to support your community while exploring delicious eats and winning awesome prizes.

Is it safe to eat at restaurants?

All restaurants are required to adhere to CDC, California, and Los Angeles County safety guidelines as it relates to capacity, mask-wearing, cleaning, sanitization, and monitoring of employees. Here are links to guidelines that restaurants are encouraged and/or required to follow:

Do I need to dine-in to enter the Chow Down Burbank contest?

No! Pick-up or delivered orders also make for viable entries. Dine at your convenience, however you are most comfortable. Tag or upload your photos, and be entered to win!

How much does it cost for a diner to participate in Chow Down Burbank?

After getting your food from a participating restaurant, entry is free! Just tag or upload your photos as described here and you’re in! You can also get a free entry into the contest by signing up for our email list here.

Do restaurants need to pay anything to participate in Chow Down Burbank?

Nope! The City of Burbank and The Burbank of Chamber of Commerce are sponsoring the entire program.

Is it too late for my restaurants to participate in Chow Down Burbank?

Not at all! You can sign up here.

Do I have to make a purchase to enter the Chow Down Burbank contest?

No. Anyone over the age of 13 can receive one entry to the contest by subscribing to our email list (no purchase necessary).

How many times can I enter Chow Down Burbank?

Anyone over the age of 13 can enter the contest up to three times per day, during the contest period. Tag or upload a photo for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (or any three meals or orders that you make from a unique restaurant), using the contest app, and that’s it! Each individual person can also receive one entry to the contest by subscribing to our email list.

Are entries limited to one per household?

No! As many members of your household that are over the age of 13 who are legally able to enter the contest, may do so. Read full contest rules here.

When are winners selected?

Winners will be picked XXXX DATE, XXXX DATE, and XXXX DATE. Winners will have seven days to respond and claim their prize.

If I don’t use social media, or don’t want to tag my photos, can I still enter the contest?

Yes! You can upload your photos to us and still enter up to three times per day. Details here.
